Wherever You Go, You Take Yourself With You

I’ve been listening to Neil Gaiman’s “The Graveyard Book” on audiobook recently and came across this quote: “It's like the people who believe they'll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, but who learn it doesn't work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you. If you see what I mean.”... Continue Reading →

I Didn’t Expect The Loneliness

After the break-up, I expected the grief. At this point, I’m well acquainted with the stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. I know they’re not some linear timeline, but instead a twisting cycle that can seemingly have no end, until suddenly, it doesn’t hurt so much anymore. I expected this, and prepared for it.... Of course, I should do all those things.... Continue Reading →

Adventures in NYC!

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit my BFF Alanna in New York City at the beginning of May, and I made sure to vlog along the way to capture some of the fun we had! I got to see so many cool places from the High Line to the Museum of the Moving Image, and I even had the chance to catch up with my friend Josh from TheJoshSpeaks who took me to a local vegan restaurant! All in all, it was a great trip and here’s just a glimpse into it!
