We’re rolling into April, my friends! It’s time for flowers, heavy coat freedom, and unfortunately, POLLEN.
March was ROUGH for me (just as I expected), so I’m hoping I can make April a little more calm. It’s my birthday month! And packed full of several other commitments and celebrations so I’m not sure how well I’ll be able to accomplish that, but at least I’m intending for my journaling to be fun!
I really wanted to bring some imaginative prompts into the mix this month. From movies to mythical creatures, I’m asking you to think outside the box, invent something new, and frame your life in new ways.
Some highlights include:
- In celebration of my birthday I have a birthday-themed prompt (though you could save it for your actual birthday month if you want!) Your birthday might seem like a random day to most anyone else, but what’s its significance in history? (FYI there are a lot of tragic happenings on and around my birthday. 😫) Go down an internet rabbit hole and find something interesting that you share your day with!
- Listing your life by the numbers means looking at the various numbers in your life and what they signify. “I’m X years old, broken X many bones, dated X many people, traveled to X many countries!” What kind of story can you craft from these numbers?
- Put on your best film critic hat and imagine your life so far as a movie. Now you’re tasked with writing the review! What’s its score on Rotten Tomatoes? Who would you recommend to see it? What’s its rating? What do you think will happen in the sequel?!
Let your imagination run wild this month as April showers (and pollen) bring some much deserved May flowers! 🌸
Remember to use the hashtag #2022ImagineJournaling to share what you’re creating with me on Instagram. And I’ll be sharing my journaling creations monthly on my stories! Happy journaling! 🎉
